Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in a high-volume warehouse environment
- Safely load/unload trucks and transport materials to designated storage areas
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Inspect and perform basic maintenance on forklifts daily
- Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Collaborate with team members to optimize warehouse efficiency
- Operate other material handling equipment as needed (pallet jacks, order pickers)
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent forklift operation experience
- Valid OSHA forklift certification
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Clean driving record (if required for yard operations)
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends during peak seasons
