Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts (sit-down and reach truck) to move materials within warehouse and loading docks
- Perform daily equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Manage inventory tracking using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Collaborate with team to optimize warehouse workflow and meet deadlines
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Assist in unloading trucks and organizing stock in designated zones
- Maintain accurate records of materials and equipment movements
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of professional forklift operation experience
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Proven ability to operate sit-down and reach-truck forklifts
- Experience with inventory management systems and RF scanners
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent required
