Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts with precision in high-volume warehouse environments
- Execute efficient material handling and inventory management protocols
- Adhere to OSHA safety standards and conduct daily equipment inspections
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow and productivity
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation systems
- Support loading/unloading operations for inbound/outbound shipments
- Implement lean warehouse practices to reduce operational costs
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (required)
- 2+ years of commercial forklift operation experience
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds regularly
- Strong problem-solving and spatial awareness skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
