Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and heavy machinery to move, stack, and organize inventory efficiently
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Inspect equipment daily and report maintenance needs to supervisor
- Coordinate with warehouse team to optimize loading/unloading processes
- Accurately document inventory movements using digital tracking systems
- Train new operators on equipment handling and safety standards
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of professional forklift operation experience
- Valid OSHA forklift certification and valid driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness skills
- Experience with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
