Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move high-value inventory
- Execute inventory control protocols using WMS systems with 99.9% accuracy
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse operations and reduce handling time
- Implement lean manufacturing principles to minimize waste and maximize throughput
- Maintain OSHA compliance standards and conduct daily equipment inspections
- Lead training initiatives for new material handling technologies and processes
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives targeting 15%+ productivity gains
Qualifications
- 3+ years of high-volume warehouse/material handling experience
- Valid forklift certification and hazardous materials handling credentials
- Expertise in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- Proven ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for 8+ hour shifts
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- Strong mathematical aptitude for inventory reconciliation
- Ability to work in temperature-controlled environments (-10°F to 100°F)
