Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage inventory movement using forklifts, pallet jacks, and automated systems
- Maintain accurate stock records through WMS software and cycle counts
- Optimize warehouse layout for maximum space utilization and workflow efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily production targets
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and maintain 5S workplace standards
- Train new hires on material handling best practices and equipment operation
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and increase productivity
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in high-volume warehouse environments
- Certification in forklift operation and hazardous materials handling
- Proficiency with WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or equivalent)
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong mathematical aptitude for inventory reconciliation
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Experience with lean manufacturing methodologies
- Valid driver's license with clean record
