Responsibilities
- Efficiently move raw materials and finished products using forklifts, pallet jacks, and overhead cranes
- Maintain accurate inventory records through systematic scanning and documentation
- Optimize warehouse layout to maximize space utilization and workflow efficiency
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and company quality standards
- Coordinate with production and shipping teams to meet tight deadlines
- Implement lean principles to minimize waste and improve productivity
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of material handling experience in a fast-paced environment
- Valid forklift certification with proven operating skills
- Proficiency in inventory management systems (WMS experience preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- OSHA 10-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Basic math skills for inventory reconciliation and reporting
