Responsibilities
- Execute high-velocity order fulfillment with 99.9% accuracy
- Operate advanced warehouse machinery (RF scanners, forklifts, AS/RS systems)
- Implement lean inventory management techniques to optimize storage
- Maintain OSHA compliance while performing safety-critical tasks
- Lead cross-functional teams during peak season operations
- Participate in continuous improvement Kaizen events
- Train new associates on proprietary Amazon systems
- Monitor and report operational bottlenecks for process optimization
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years warehouse/logistics experience in high-volume environments
- OSHA 10-hour certification or equivalent safety credentials
- Proficiency with WMS systems (e.g., Manhattan, Oracle)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and operate heavy machinery
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong analytical skills for inventory reconciliation
- Spanish bilingual proficiency preferred
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
