Responsibilities
- Load and Unload Freight: Safely and efficiently load and unload shipments from trucks using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Inventory Management: Verify incoming and outgoing inventory against purchase orders to ensure accuracy.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine safety checks on warehouse equipment and report any issues immediately.
- Packing & Labeling: Properly pack, label, and prepare products for shipment to ensure damage-free delivery.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety protocols and company regulations at all times.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to maintain workflow efficiency and meet daily quotas.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred but not required for qualified candidates.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license required.
- Equipment Operation: Basic knowledge of forklift operation is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and quality control.
- Reliability: Punctual with a history of consistent attendance.
