Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature and humidity control in -10°F to 40°F environments
- Operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts for efficient product movement
- Perform inventory management and cycle counting in refrigerated zones
- Adhere to HACCP and FSMA safety protocols for food handling
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Coordinate with logistics team for timely loading/unloading of refrigerated trucks
- Maintain detailed documentation of storage conditions and product rotation
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience required
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- OSHA 10-hour General Industry certification preferred
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance mindset
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly with proper techniques
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems
