Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping
- Manage team of 15-20 warehouse associates through scheduling, training, and performance coaching
- Implement lean principles to maximize efficiency and reduce operational costs
- Ensure strict compliance with OSHA and safety protocols
- Conduct cycle counts and manage inventory accuracy systems
- Optimize warehouse layout and equipment utilization
- Collaborate with transportation and procurement teams
- Generate performance reports and implement continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse management experience with team leadership
- OSHA 30-hour certification or equivalent safety training
- Proficiency in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Forklift certification and material handling expertise
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field preferred
- Experience with automated conveyor systems
- Proven track record in reducing inventory shrinkage
