Responsibilities
- Loading & Unloading: Safely load and unload refrigerated trucks and containers, ensuring cargo integrity is maintained.
- Inventory Management: Perform accurate inventory counts and stock organization within the cold storage environment.
- Forklift Operation: Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move heavy pallets efficiently and safely.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for damage and ensure all items are stored according to strict temperature guidelines.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a safe workplace.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate logs and digital records of stock movements and handling procedures.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50-70 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Experience: Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, or cold storage is preferred but not mandatory.
- Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy when handling inventory and safety checks.
- Communication: Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Tools: Basic familiarity with warehouse equipment and handheld scanners is a plus.
