Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in refrigerated environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks with temperature-sensitive products
- Monitor and maintain optimal cold storage conditions using digital monitoring systems
- Perform inventory management and FIFO rotation protocols
- Conduct daily sanitation and safety compliance checks
- Document temperature logs and operational reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless warehouse operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-certified)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly in cold conditions
- Basic math skills for inventory management
- Food Handler's Certificate or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights/weekends
