Responsibilities
- Maintain strict temperature control protocols for refrigerated/freezer units (-10°F to 40°F)
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to move products efficiently and safely
- Conduct inventory counts using warehouse management systems (WMS)
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety standards at all times
- Load/unload trucks following FIFO (First-In-First-Out) procedures
- Inspect products for quality and report discrepancies to supervisors
- Sanitize equipment and work areas according to food safety guidelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily shipping targets
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of cold storage or warehouse experience required
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability (including weekends)
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
