Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport palletized goods within cold storage facilities using forklifts, pallet jacks, and manual hand trucks.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by conducting regular stock counts and organizing storage areas.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols to prevent accidents and product spoilage in sub-zero temperatures.
- Inspect equipment and machinery for damage or wear, reporting any maintenance needs to supervisors immediately.
- Package and label products efficiently to ensure proper shipment and handling.
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Ability to work in freezing temperatures (32°F and below) for extended shifts.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting, carrying, and moving items weighing up to 50+ lbs.
- Willingness to stand and walk for long periods.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and logging data.
- Valid ID and eligibility to work in the United States.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and reliability.
