Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in cold storage units
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Inspect products for quality and integrity upon receipt
- Operate inventory management systems and maintain accurate records
- Adhere to strict food safety protocols (HACCP) and sanitation standards
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and order accuracy
- Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance needs
Qualifications
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Flexible availability including weekends/holidays as needed
