Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials in compliance with OSHA regulations
- Inspect and maintain forklift equipment daily to ensure optimal performance
- Manage inventory documentation and coordinate with warehouse team for accurate stock rotation
- Maintain clean, organized workspaces and adhere to 5S methodology
- Collaborate with supervisors to optimize warehouse efficiency and meet productivity targets
- Participate in safety training and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (e.g., OSHA-approved)
- Minimum 2 years of recent forklift operation experience in warehouse setting
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Ability to work in temperature-controlled and outdoor environments
- Valid Washington state driver's license preferred
