Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts and material handling equipment to move products efficiently
- Inspect and maintain equipment before and after shifts to ensure optimal performance
- Verify inventory counts and document materials using warehouse management systems
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment following OSHA safety standards
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet production targets
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments and stacking pallets in designated areas
- Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors promptly
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (OSHA-approved preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of recent forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends if required
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Ability to read and interpret shipping documents and labels
