Location: Louisville, KY
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and move products safely and efficiently.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and safety checks to ensure machinery is in proper working order.
- Organize warehouse inventory, ensuring stock is stored according to safety and accessibility guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory movement and stock levels using warehouse management systems.
- Adhere strictly to all OSHA safety regulations and company policies to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily productivity and shipping targets.
- Assist in the receiving, processing, and storage of incoming shipments.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (Class A, B, or C) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse or distribution setting.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards and warehouse protocols.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent physical stamina and hand-eye coordination.
- Basic computer skills for logging inventory and paperwork.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to work rotating shifts.
