Responsibilities
- Pick and pack merchandise from warehouse shelves based on customer orders and picking tickets.
- Utilize handheld scanning devices and barcode scanners to verify product accuracy.
- Prepare, label, and package items securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Inspect products for quality and defects before packaging.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts (certification provided upon hiring).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production targets and efficiency goals.
Qualifications
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods.
- Basic math skills for weighing items and calculating shipping costs.
- Reliable transportation to and from the Jacksonville facility.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including overtime and weekends if required.
- No prior warehouse experience is necessary; we provide on-the-job training.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
