Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of 15+ warehouse staff to achieve performance targets
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain OSHA compliance and accident prevention
- Optimize inventory management systems to ensure accuracy and minimize waste
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for efficient material flow and process improvement
- Analyze operational metrics and implement strategies to enhance productivity and reduce costs
- Manage warehouse equipment maintenance and ensure proper utilization of resources
Qualifications
- 3+ years of warehouse management experience in a fast-paced distribution environment
- Proven track record of team leadership and performance management
- Strong knowledge of inventory control systems (WMS) and supply chain principles
- OSHA certification and familiarity with safety regulations
- Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to make data-driven decisions
- Proficient in warehouse management software and MS Office Suite
- Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays as needed
