Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, stocking, and order fulfillment
- Supervise part-time staff, assigning tasks and ensuring productivity standards
- Implement and maintain safety protocols to prevent workplace accidents
- Conduct inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies with inventory systems
- Optimize warehouse layout and workflows for maximum efficiency
- Train new team members on equipment operation and procedures
- Coordinate with transportation team for seamless loading/unloading of trucks
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years warehouse/supervisory experience required
- Forklift certification and material handling expertise
- Strong knowledge of inventory management systems
- Excellent leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings and weekends
- Basic proficiency in warehouse management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree preferred
