Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, and order fulfillment
- Lead and mentor a team of 10-15 warehouse staff through training and performance management
- Implement safety protocols and maintain OSHA compliance standards
- Optimize inventory management systems and reduce operational costs
- Coordinate with transportation teams for efficient dock scheduling
- Conduct regular audits and resolve operational discrepancies
- Utilize WMS software for inventory tracking and reporting
Qualifications
- 3+ years warehouse supervisory experience in logistics or distribution
- OSHA certification and strong safety management background
- Proficiency with warehouse management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Excellent leadership and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a climate-controlled environment
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making experience
