Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move materials within warehouse and yard
- Load/unload trucks using proper palletizing techniques and weight distribution
- Conduct daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate inventory records using WMS systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient workflow
- Operate powered pallet jacks and other material handling equipment
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 72 hours)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable forklift operation experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
