Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts in warehouse environments
- Load/unload freight with precision using pallet jacks and hand trucks
- Maintain accurate inventory logs and stock rotation systems
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company procedures
- Perform pre/post-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with team members for efficient material movement
- Complete daily production reports and documentation
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum 6 months recent forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness
- Basic math skills for inventory counting
- Reliable transportation to North Nashville industrial parks
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work 10-12 hour shifts including weekends
