As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in our daily operations, ensuring that inventory is handled with precision and care.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials safely and efficiently.
- Inspect equipment daily to ensure it is in proper working order before operation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations and OSHA standards.
- Verify inventory accuracy by checking stock against warehouse records.
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to meet daily shipping and receiving targets.
- Perform routine maintenance on forklifts, such as checking fluid levels and tire pressure.
Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification (CPC or equivalent) is required.
- Previous experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse environment.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills for logging inventory or operating warehouse management software.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
