Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials in warehouse and dock environments
- Inspect and maintain equipment daily to ensure optimal performance and compliance with OSHA standards
- Manage inventory documentation and coordinate with team members for seamless workflow
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and adhere to all safety protocols
- Assist in inventory counts and cycle counting procedures
- Collaborate with supervisors to optimize material handling processes
- Operate other warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, order pickers) as needed
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-certified forklift license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- 1+ years of experience operating industrial forklifts in a warehouse setting
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and material handling best practices
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems documentation
- High school diploma or equivalent required
