Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Perform daily inventory counts and maintain accurate stock records using warehouse management systems.
- Inspect forklifts and equipment for defects and report maintenance issues to supervisors immediately.
- Ensure the warehouse floor is clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily shipping, receiving, and storage targets.
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and wearing required PPE.
Qualifications
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification (CDL or forklift specific license required).
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Physically capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and attention to detail.
