Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently to move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring cargo is secured and protected during transport.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by tagging and scanning stock items.
- Inspect equipment for safety issues and report any maintenance needs promptly.
- Keep the warehouse floor organized and free of hazards to ensure compliance with OSHA standards.
- Collaborate with team leads to meet daily production and shipping goals.
Qualifications
- Certified forklift operator (OSHA compliant) with a valid license.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in warehouse operations or material handling.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols strictly.
- Basic computer skills and ability to operate scanning equipment.
