Responsibilities
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts to move palletized materials safely and efficiently
- Conduct daily pre-operation safety checks and maintain accurate equipment logs
- Load/unload trucks and stage inventory in designated warehouse zones
- Assist with inventory counts and maintain organized storage systems
- Adhere to OSHA standards and company safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety concerns to supervisors promptly
Qualifications
- Valid OSHA-approved forklift certification (required)
- Minimum 1 year of recent forklift operation experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and spatial awareness in warehouse settings
- Basic knowledge of inventory management systems (WMS experience preferred)
- Clean driving record and ability to pass background check
- Flexibility to work varying shifts including weekends if needed
