Responsibilities
- Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials in warehouse settings
- Conduct daily pre-shift inspections of equipment to ensure optimal functionality
- Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation of material movements
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and company operational guidelines
- Collaborate with warehouse team members to optimize workflow efficiency
- Assist with general warehouse duties including stacking, sorting, and organizing stock
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety concerns to supervisors promptly
Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (e.g., OSHA-certified)
- Minimum 1 year experience operating sit-down and stand-up forklifts
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Basic math skills for inventory and documentation tasks
- Ability to work flexible shifts including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
