Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts (Counterbalance, Reach, and Pallet Jacks) safely and efficiently to load and unload shipments.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper FIFO (First-In, First-Out) procedures are followed.
- Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Organize warehouse storage areas to maximize space and efficiency while adhering to safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
- Keep the work area clean, tidy, and free of hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Certification: Valid and current Forklift Operator Certification (OSHA compliant).
- Experience: Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and walk on various surfaces.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail and basic computer literacy for inventory logging.
