Responsibilities
- Perform Cycle Counts: Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and reconcile discrepancies immediately.
- Manage Stock Receiving: Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities against packing lists, and inspect for damages before processing.
- Maintain Records: Update and maintain accurate digital and physical inventory records using ERP software and barcode scanners.
- Warehouse Organization: Keep the storage area tidy and organized to ensure efficient retrieval and storage of materials.
- Stock Issuance: Process outgoing orders, pick, pack, and label items according to customer specifications.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine checks on inventory management tools and reporting equipment.
- Reporting: Generate daily and weekly inventory reports to assist management in decision-making processes.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Logistics or Supply Chain preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in inventory management, warehousing, or logistics is highly desirable.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and basic computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite).
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot discrepancies and maintain high data integrity standards.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work well within a team.
- License: Forklift certification is a plus but not required for the entry-level position.
