Responsibilities
- Maintain real-time inventory accuracy through systematic stock counts and cycle counting
- Process inbound/outbound shipments using WMS software (SAP or Oracle experience preferred)
- Generate daily inventory reports and variance analysis for management review
- Coordinate with warehouse teams to resolve inventory discrepancies within 24 hours
- Implement FIFO protocols and optimize storage space utilization
- Conduct physical audits quarterly and support annual inventory counts
- Train staff on inventory procedures and data entry standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in logistics preferred
- 2+ years inventory control or warehouse experience
- Proficiency in WMS systems and MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
- Forklift certification (OSHA compliant) and ability to lift 50 lbs
- Strong analytical skills with 99.5% inventory accuracy track record
- Experience with barcode scanning technology and RFID systems
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
