Responsibilities
- Maintain real-time inventory accuracy using WMS software and barcode scanners
- Conduct daily cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies with purchase orders
- Coordinate with receiving/shipping teams to document all warehouse transactions
- Generate weekly inventory reports for management review
- Implement FIFO rotation protocols and monitor stock expiration dates
- Collaborate with procurement to optimize reorder points and minimize carrying costs
- Train new staff on inventory control procedures and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years inventory control or warehouse experience
- Proficiency in WMS systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of supply chain principles
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required
