Responsibilities
- Maintain real-time inventory accuracy through systematic counts and audits
- Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) for stock tracking and reporting
- Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments with receiving and shipping teams
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies using analytical methods
- Generate daily/weekly inventory reports for management review
- Collaborate with procurement to optimize stock levels and reorder points
- Implement FIFO/FEFO inventory rotation procedures
- Train staff on inventory best practices and system usage
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- 2+ years inventory control or warehouse experience
- Proficient with WMS software (e.g., Oracle, SAP, or similar)
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
- Forklift certification a plus
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of supply chain principles
