Responsibilities
- Conduct daily cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies using barcode scanners and ERP systems
- Manage inbound/outbound stock processes, including receiving, labeling, and documenting shipments
- Maintain real-time inventory databases with 99.9% accuracy for 10,000+ SKUs
- Collaborate with procurement team to optimize stock levels and prevent overstock/shortages
- Generate weekly/monthly inventory reports and variance analysis for leadership review
- Implement FIFO/FEFO inventory control procedures for perishable goods
- Train staff on inventory management protocols and safety compliance
Qualifications
- 2+ years of inventory control or warehouse experience in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in inventory software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Fishbowl)
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail with error rates <0.5%
- OSHA Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Associate's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for 8-hour shifts
- Excellent communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
