Responsibilities
- Conduct daily cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies using barcode scanners
- Maintain real-time inventory records in Oracle ERP system with 99.8% accuracy
- Coordinate with warehouse team for efficient receiving, put-away, and shipping processes
- Generate monthly inventory reports for senior management and external auditors
- Implement FIFO rotation protocols and manage hazardous material storage compliance
- Train new staff on inventory management SOPs and WMS software
- Collaborate with procurement team to optimize stock levels and prevent overstocking
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years inventory control experience in distribution or manufacturing
- Proficiency with barcode scanners, RF guns, and WMS software (SAP/JDA preferred)
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail (verified through skills assessment)
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Valid Indiana driver's license and clean MVR for forklift operations
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand/walk 8+ hours per day
- Associate degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience
