Responsibilities
- Conduct accurate daily cycle counts and participate in monthly/annual physical inventory audits to ensure data integrity.
- Utilize barcode scanners and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to update stock levels in real-time.
- Reconcile inventory discrepancies by investigating root causes and resolving discrepancies with the receiving team.
- Assist in the receiving, checking, and storing of incoming goods, verifying quantities against packing slips.
- Maintain organized and clean storage areas to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Generate and maintain inventory reports for management review to support supply chain decision-making.
- Collaborate with logistics coordinators to coordinate timely stock replenishment and shipping preparation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; associate degree in Logistics or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in inventory control, warehousing, or logistics (1+ years preferred).
- Proficiency with inventory management software and basic computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify errors quickly.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Valid forklift certification is a plus but not required.
