Responsibilities
- Stock Receiving and Verification: Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, damage, and completeness, and log them into the inventory management system.
- Inventory Audits: Conduct regular cycle counts and annual physical inventories to ensure stock levels match system records with high precision.
- Stock Management: Organize and store inventory in designated areas, ensuring proper labeling, rotation, and accessibility for warehouse staff.
- Data Entry: Maintain accurate digital records of inventory movements, including transfers, returns, and adjustments, using SAP or Oracle software.
- Shipment Preparation: Assist in picking, packing, and preparing outgoing orders, verifying that the correct items are included.
- Equipment Maintenance: Keep the inventory area clean, safe, and organized, reporting any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk, Warehouse Associate, or similar role is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and MS Excel.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive motions; comfortable working in a climate-controlled warehouse environment.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional ability to spot discrepancies and maintain data integrity.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with the warehouse team and management.
