Responsibilities
- Conduct daily inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies using RF scanners
- Maintain real-time inventory data in WMS systems with 99.9% accuracy
- Coordinate with receiving/shipping teams to document all product movements
- Generate cycle count reports and variance analyses for management review
- Implement FIFO inventory rotation protocols to prevent obsolescence
- Audit warehouse organization and compliance with OSHA safety standards
- Collaborate on inventory optimization projects to reduce carrying costs
- Train staff on inventory procedures and system best practices
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
- 2+ years inventory control or warehouse experience
- Proficiency in WMS software (SAP, Oracle, or Manhattan Active)
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, data validation)
- RF scanner certification or equivalent experience
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand/walk 8+ hours daily
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
