Responsibilities
- Conduct daily inventory counts using barcode scanners and manual verification methods
- Update inventory databases in real-time using WMS software (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies through cycle counting and audits
- Coordinate with purchasing and shipping teams to maintain optimal stock levels
- Prepare detailed inventory reports for management review and compliance
- Implement FIFO (First-In-First-Out) protocols and quality control checks
- Train staff on inventory procedures and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of inventory management experience in warehouse/logistics
- Proficiency with WMS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Valid California driver's license preferred
- Forklift certification a plus
- Experience with barcode scanning technology (Zebra, Honeywell)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
