Responsibilities
- Conduct daily cycle counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies using WMS software
- Maintain real-time inventory records with 99.9% accuracy
- Optimize warehouse layout for efficient stock rotation and space utilization
- Process inbound/outbound shipments and update inventory status
- Generate inventory reports for management and stakeholders
- Collaborate with procurement to prevent stockouts and overstock situations
- Implement FIFO/FEFO protocols for perishable goods
- Train staff on inventory procedures and best practices
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in logistics preferred
- 2+ years inventory or warehouse management experience
- Proficiency in WMS (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Basic knowledge of OSHA safety standards
