Responsibilities
- Perform regular physical inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Log inventory data accurately into our Warehouse Management System (WMS) and spreadsheets.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse floor to facilitate efficient workflow.
- Assist in stock rotation and ensuring FIFO (First-In, First-Out) protocols are strictly followed.
- Generate and review inventory variance reports to identify discrepancies immediately.
- Collaborate closely with the shipping and receiving departments to streamline logistics operations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required; associate degree in logistics or related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in inventory control, warehousing, or logistics preferred.
- Proficiency with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) is highly desirable.
- Basic computer skills and ability to type accurately (40+ WPM).
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot discrepancies immediately.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs safely.
- Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.
