Job Overview:
As an Inventory Clerk, you will be responsible for the precise tracking of stock, ensuring that our physical inventory matches our digital records. You will utilize cutting-edge warehouse management systems (WMS) and handheld scanners to manage the flow of goods efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily cycle counts and monthly physical inventory audits to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities against packing slips, and log data into the inventory management system.
- Identify and report discrepancies in stock levels immediately to the Warehouse Manager.
- Organize warehouse shelves and storage areas to optimize space and retrieval efficiency.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of stock movements, including returns and damages.
- Assist in the preparation of shipping labels and documentation.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to streamline supply chain processes.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience as an Inventory Clerk, Warehouse Associate, or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional data entry accuracy.
- Basic computer literacy (proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory software is a plus).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a warehouse setting.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work a full-time schedule.
