Responsibilities
- Stock Receiving: Receive, inspect, and record incoming merchandise accurately using the company’s inventory management software.
- Inventory Accuracy: Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventories to maintain 100% accuracy standards.
- Data Management: Update digital inventory records in real-time and ensure all stock is properly tagged and organized.
- Reporting: Prepare and maintain reports regarding stock levels, shortages, damaged goods, and discrepancies.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with the warehouse team to resolve inventory discrepancies and optimize storage layouts.
- Documentation: Ensure all shipping and receiving documentation is completed correctly and filed timely.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Supply Chain or Business preferred.
- Experience: Prior experience in inventory control, warehousing, or logistics is strongly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to spot errors and maintain high standards of accuracy in fast-paced environments.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and navigate a warehouse environment safely.
