Responsibilities
- Perform regular physical inventory counts and cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy and reconcile discrepancies immediately.
- Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments while verifying quantities against packing slips.
- Maintain and update digital inventory management systems (ERP) with real-time stock data.
- Organize warehouse storage areas to optimize space utilization and accessibility for team members.
- Coordinate with purchasing and logistics teams to forecast stock needs and prevent shortages.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly inventory reports and audit documentation.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies regarding hazardous materials and equipment handling.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; prior experience in warehousing or logistics is a plus.
- Basic computer proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Excel and inventory software (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, or similar).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to detect errors in data and physical stock.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a warehouse setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends.
- Familiarity with barcode scanners and RF handheld devices.
