Responsibilities
- Architect Next-Gen Systems: Design and implement scalable AI infrastructure for the 2026 Horizon project, focusing on transformer models and generative AI.
- Lead Technical Strategy: Define the technical roadmap for AI evolution, making critical decisions on model architecture, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure.
- Optimize Performance: Drive initiatives to reduce latency and improve inference accuracy, ensuring our systems can handle real-time, high-volume data streams.
- Mentor & Inspire: Lead a diverse team of data scientists and engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
- Collaborate Across Disciplines: Work closely with product managers, security experts, and UX designers to align AI capabilities with user needs.
- Ethical AI Governance: Establish frameworks for responsible AI, ensuring compliance with evolving industry standards and regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 5 years specifically in AI/ML architecture and leadership.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and distributed computing systems (Kubernetes, AWS/GCP).
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of solving complex problems in natural language processing (NLP) or computer vision.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive projects from concept to deployment.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
