Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze global mega-trends impacting 2026's technology, social, and economic landscapes
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for 3-5 year planning horizons
- Partner with R&D teams to prioritize emerging technology investments (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Deliver executive briefings on future risk/opportunity assessments
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives using proprietary trend intelligence platforms
- Design and facilitate future-focused innovation workshops with global stakeholders
- Author thought leadership publications on 2026 industry disruption
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or corporate futurism roles
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial strategy
- Expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and systemic thinking frameworks
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech trajectories (AI, Web3, climate tech)
- Exceptional communication skills for executive audiences
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFIP) strongly preferred
- Published work on future-of-work or industry transformation
