Responsibilities
- Load and unload materials manually or using forklifts and other equipment
- Move materials to and from storage areas, production areas, or loading docks
- Identify and sort materials for storage and distribution
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and safe at all times
- Operate material handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Collaborate with team members to meet production and shipping deadlines
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification is a plus
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role preferred
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain one
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems
- Valid driver's license may be required
